Disc and drum brake conversion and upgrades
Front disc upgrade. This upgrade replaces the stock 11" disc set up with cross-drilled and vented 13" rotors and twin piston calipers for plenty of extra stopping power. (Larger wheels may be required for clearance.)
Rear disc brake conversion. This conversion eliminates the 9" brake drum and replaces it with a twin piston caliper on a 12" rotor.
Rear drum assembly installed and looking good under the car. Notice the upgraded differential housing cover.
This rear drum brake upgrade increases rear drum diameter from 9" to 11" and results in a noticeable increase in stopping power over the stock 9" system.
